Last night’s packed show at the Parish was a whole lot of pretty. I had high expectations going in: my roommate raves about the Album Leaf’s Parish show from a few years back, counting it as one of the best he’s seen (and he’s seen a lot).

I was mainly really looking forward to Sea Wolf. I loved 2007’s Leaves in the River – though apparently Pitchfork hated it – and couldn’t wait to see them for the first time. It was also nice to finally catch the Album Leaf, but the music is so chilled out and pretty; it just wasn’t what I wanted last night.
